Step Outreach

At Steps Church we believe God has called us to be outwardly focused, so our heart is to serve and make an impact in our community by being hands on. Each week we also take 10% of what comes in from your tithe and we give it back to local non-profits in the lowcountry. You can read more about these non-profits below.

Fisher House

Fisher House

Fisher house is located In downtown Charleston and houses families/individuals who are getting treatment at the va hospital. Many veterans travel to get their treatment and don’t have the money to stay anywhere so the fisher house provides a place to stay at no charge to the veterans and their family. What they do and provide for the families is so special and we love what they stand for. We had the opportunity to cook a homemade meal for the families staying there and we are looking forward to being able to do it again. If you are interested in finding out more out the house here in Charleston and how we donate you can click the button below.

Healing Farms

Healing fARMS

healing farms is a non-profit that builds hope and opportunity for individuals with disabilities while also teaching the community to see ability rather then disability. They create a place for individuals with disabilities to come, to grow, and to thrive into all they were meant to be. We are excited to be a part and serve in different capacities. We were able to go to the house and clean and organize it so that it was fresh and ready for the week to come. Blessing bOX

Lowcountry blessing box project

The low country blessing box project is something we physically help out with every month here at Steps Church AND IT’S CALLED “Food in Motion”. There are blessing boxes all across the lowcountry and their saying is “Leave what you can, take what you need”. The last Sunday of every month we as a church have a challenge to fill up those boxes. We ask that you bring any non-perishables, feminine products, baby products, hygiene needs to church and then that week we distribute them to the North Charleston blessing boxes. We love how directly it blesses those in our community. You can check out their Facebook page by clicking the button below.
